This Covette owner wanted to add Bluetooth and a portable radar jammer. We used a Passoprt 9500ix which is loaded with all-band radar protection and precise 360 degree laser "shifting" technology, speeding tickets can be a thing of the past. ESCORT leads the industry by incorporating its patented GPS technology that automatically identifies the source and location of all radar signals. Real threats are processed in less than a second, while false signals are learned and eliminated. It also comes pre-loaded with thousands of Safety Camera locations, (red light and fixed speed cameras) throughout the U.S. and Canada, and can be updated through ESCORT's web site. We then added the ZR4 package which comes with the sensonrs and "shifters to effectively turn it into a full 9500ci when installed in the main vehicle, but still allows you use the 9500ix as a portable device. The front sensors are virtually invisible in daylight, I turned on the flash in one shot so you can see the sensors mounted in the front grills. As with all of the Escort "shifters" the rear sensor goes on the back plate and is unobrusive. This customer lives down a gravel road, that is why the cars is so dusty while we were working on it. So it was pointless to wash it when we were done! Image:  Corvette C5- This customer wanted a nice Alpine system but did not want to spend too much money. We installed Alpine component speakers in the doors a Flipout screen and equalizer up front, two Alpine amps an a JL Audio stealthbox in the rear. The customer had a budget for great equipment but did not want to pay for the full custom install. But we can work with any budget and wegot him what he wanted. If he had a little more money we would have liked to have built a custom amp rack for the Alpine amplifiers. The system still sounds great!
